Premier Range
Installation instructions
Premier Range fountains are supplied with a fibreglass base pool exclusive to Just Fountains, moulded with an edging flange that the base pool blocks assemble onto. It does away with foundations entirely — most installations are finished and running the same day, without a builder.
Step 01
Lay the base pool on level ground
Lay the fibreglass pool onto a level, flat, solid surface. You will need a spirit level to make sure the base is sitting true — everything above it depends on this being right.
Step 02
Seat the pump and run the cable
The pump sits in the centre of the fibreglass pool, and the cable is sealed into the provision made for the power supply. It comes with 10 metres of cable, exiting at the side of the pool near the bottom for easy electrical connection. The same arrangement makes the pump straightforward to replace later if it ever needs it.
Step 03
Stack the fountain
Stack your fountain in the centre of the pool. All our fountains are pre-levelled at our factory, though some levelling may still be needed on site. Once assembled, the pump is completely hidden away inside the base of the fountain.
Step 04
Fill, then assemble the edging blocks
While the base pool is filling with water, assemble the edging blocks. They sit on an edging flange moulded into the fibreglass — no foundations, no cementing, and no sealants required.
Why fibreglass
The outer edge of the fibreglass is very strong and rigid, manufactured by us to a high standard. Fibreglass isn't only used for ponds holding thousands of gallons of water — it builds most of the boats cruising up and down our shores, and does flat roofing on houses besides.
We spent six months designing and testing this product to make sure every finished fountain both stands the test of time and looks as though it had been professionally installed.
Your fountain is delivered on a weekday of your choice by one of our own drivers, so the process runs smoothly from payment through to delivery.
